These should help explain the proposed role rather than exist as disconnected documents. Note any difference between your current role and the position you intend to take in Malaysia. Your passport details and current immigration position may also be relevant, but an initial conversation need not involve sending sensitive scans.
Make the proposed employment clear
An offer letter or proposed employment contract can help organise the discussion around the employer, position, responsibilities, salary and intended duration. An anticipated start date is a planning preference, not evidence of permission to begin work. Where the role or company has changed, explain the change and provide a clear timeline for review.
Do not overlook the company side
ESC’s initial review may include the corporate registration, business profile, organisation chart, relevant licences and premises information. The proposed position should be discussed alongside the company’s actual activities and personnel needs. For employers, collecting the corporate and applicant information together can make the assessment more coherent than treating each side as unrelated.
